After my son started nursery, I was looking for a creative outlet and came across a day course in silver clay. Having dabbled in silver smithing years ago, I was curious to see how it differed. It was incredible!
I loved it so much that I still wear the pendant I made.
The accessibility and variety of techniques hooked me right away! then, I've taken a 12-month online course, travelled to Cornwall for my level 1 diploma, and studied more online during lockdown.

To continue my creative journey, I joined a weekly silver smithing class to sharpen my skills and explore new techniques like soldering, casting, and stone setting.

Most recently, I fell in love with a course in cloisonné enamelling, which I now try to incorporate in my work.
I enjoy creating jewellery that resonates with me, often featuring nature-inspired textures, along with hares and elephants (my favourite animals!). What’s great about my hobby is that there is always more to learn and things to improve.
