Creativity has always been central to my life, from making things with scraps of fabric as a child to finding comfort in creative projects throughout my corporate career and health challenges.
Today, I feel privileged others refer to me as an artist, that is a title I have always shied away from.

I find inspiration comes from everyday life, my surroundings, including cityscapes and the coast, along with the people. I try and add a touch of humour, and a vibrant splash of colour in my work. I love repurposing discarded materials and combining different media in my creations.

Before becoming unwell I upcycled and repurposed furniture, saving it from landfill and giving it new life, and a reason for someone to love it. I loved hand stitching the reupholstered items, however, due to physical limitations this is something I can no longer do.

I feel a deep connection to water and trees; their beauty and strength captivate me. After a walk along the beach or through the woods, I always feel calmer and more at peace, as if they resonate with me in a unique way.

My passion for colour and how it's used, blended combined, and applied is an enduring love affair. A life devoid of colour is unimaginable. I strive to use colour effectively in all my creations, whether they are murals, paintings, or home décor, as it holds immense significance for me.

Hosting classes, workshops, and courses brings me joy as I see people shift into a new mindset. I watch their shoulders relax and the daily stresses melt away as they embrace imagination, play, and creativity in ways they never imagined possible.
My philosophy is straightforward: there are no mistakes in creativity, as it is subjective and personal. While there are technical methods that can enhance results, our individual perspectives ensure that our creations uniquely reflect who we are.
